Technology
has many benefits but sometimes paper still wins the screen.
Isn’t
it lovely to be able to fold up a letter into an origami heart for that extra
touch of love?
Isn’t
it wonderful to be able to control the handwriting and add little doodles
everywhere without having to bother about formatting or line spacing or
aligning that picture to your words?
Isn’t
it therapeutic to be able to slash out every mistake you have, or even just
attack the paper angrily when you’re mad?
Isn’t
it satisfying to crunch up balls of paper and aim it at the waste paper basket
in the corner of the room?
This
week has been kind to me so far, but that’s as kind as it goes. Feeling
encouraged for one thing, but despairing over another.
The more you struggle, the faster
you sink.
Take in a deep breathe, relax and
don’t think.
