A day out with COUSINS.
NO HW THIS WEEKEND. yippees. but still have all the projects and SIAs. sigh.
but. i still slacked, nonetheless.
i only did a bit of sci sia, and then i did more or less no other homework.
yesterday randomly, jamie and jason and huiting and jabez came over. (my cousins!) me and my big bro went down to play frisbee with them. then we went to visit my aunty who i never knew lived juz down the street from me. then we 5 squished into a taxi (we're all adults eh, only jabez is 7.) and went to my another cousin's house, at ACSI. i never knew huihui (huiting's sister) lived in the hostel there. i dont know alot about my cousins there, i realised. played with poker cards and UNO. stared at her pet crab. and then, rather ironically, we had black pepper crab for dinner as well as curry fish head, and some other canteen food. then we played somemore, lazed around, and watched videos of jabez and amelia (huihui's children) on facebook. so cute and funny. then headed to huiting's house, where jamie and jason were staying at while in s'pore. i was bored so they let me play playstation by myself, while they went to bathe. thats about it. then i took taxi home with my bro. jamie said, see u like 10 years later! i laughed. i hope thats not true. i would definitely miss them this time, cos i actually remember them now. luckily, there's such a thing as FACEBOOK.
my mom wouldnt make an account cos she thinks is gossip.

MY 2010 tiger CNY
CHINESE NEW YEAR!
friday.
got to school LATE. wanchin was late too. but after waiting a long time, the counsellors decided to excuse us. :D
duneed to huichun (: so i went to get ready for performance soon after that. performance was okayy lah, then in M403, the cellobass' section room, shiying my senior showed us a video of our performance. so funny lah, cos it was taken from the side of the backstage (she was stage runner) and mostly showed ME. and i had little to no taifeng (er. moving to the music that thing). major SKIP.
after school, meet KP and WC and Janice and tgt with Claudia, want to go to peihwa. who knows, claudia's awesome plan was ruined when we saw jessica at the ny busstop. i could tell claudia was very sadd. cos she had to meet *ahem* and she couldnt was Valentine's Day anymore :(
well, jessica asked us to join her and the guys and kp half innocently wanted to, so we couldnt exactly turn down their offer. then we went subway at bt timah plaza.
aftr lunch, PEIHWA! met lots of old friends there. miss the good ol days. ch 6 10 are supporters of HCI. they yayed when the guys said, go HCI, and booed when the guys said go RI. LOLL. weird people!
had little talks with teachers in the staffroom. huang laoshi is actually my ssabollec junior's mom! COOL.
yuhong kept on calling me. jessica was rushing to west mall (again-.-) at 2 for movie, Percy Jackson. yuhong met as at west mall with her cute plaits/pleats. no more seats for percy jackson. no more movie to watch. hang around and talk. yuhong gave some of us the evil eye. hmm. i dont think u get that but oh well.

SAT
nothing much. went jiayi's house to do sci sia with claudia. did it very slowly. still havent finished. tried to look at words on jiayi's air con thingy from downstairs using binoculars. CRAZY.

SUN
my whole family woke up quite late (9-10 am) so didnt go church. after i ate breakfast i slept till lunch. did hw and lased around till lat eftaernoon, got ready for my cousin's wedding..
was wearing a new dress (claudia~ remember i told you?) with a shirt underneath and felt weird.
at my counsin's wedding, met a lot of relatives that i hv not met for a LOOOOOOONG time. cos its my father's side which im not close to. and then we exchanged facebook emails and talked and laughed. I HAVE AUSTRALIAN COUSINS. COOL.gonna find them on facebook later, if they havent alr added me. :D
the wedding very nice, cos when they starting to serve the first dish, they dimmed the lights and then turned on those kind of like disco lights that flashed all around in different colours, and played the song, BE OUR GUEST, some song from a Disney show which i forgot i think. and then the waiters and waitresses(is it called waiters?)started holding the trays in the way they do on their palms, and di this funny walking formation to their assigned tables. quite amusing. and there was a harp performance. SO NICE.
through the dinner this cousin (the australian one but should be born in s'pore), Jason, keep on coming from another table to my table to ask us questions about singapore, cos he wanted to know abt my school life. LOL. and his sister, Jamie, with another cousin, Hwee Ting, kept me amused with their antics and funny faces with the littler kids. (:

MON
morning, help mom cook stuff to bring to cousin's house (mom's side) to eat.
go my Tengteng jiejie's house, eat. after that, we all went over to my aunt's house which was across the road. there, played 'soccer' wif my younger cousins, at the lift landing. the ball flew down once. o.O!
then, my aunt came up wif a very random idea of visiting my fourth grand aunt. so we went.. at first we went to the wrong place cos she never say the roda name properly, and coincidentally the landmarks she mentioned, and the block number, were the same, only wrong road. so in the end when we found her home, we found it really cool. it has 40 floors!! and its the nicest neatest 3 room flat i've ever seen. me and my younger cousins went right up to the 40th floor and looked down. scary. nice scenery though!

TUE
slackslack. then do homework. laze around. hoping to meet up with yvonne but in the end didnt. went jogging with my mom in the evening.

ephemeral and a new URL
HEY PEOPLE.
i am random and want to change my blog address. cos i know a lot of you out there who are my LOYAL FANS cannot remember my blog address. how can you call youself a LOYAL FAN if u cant even remember my blog URL?
so firstly, i shall explain to you wat eph-emeral means. its supposed to be the word ephemeral, which means, according to dictionary.com, adj: shortlived, transitory. noun: something that is shortlived.
i thought that was a nice word cos it kind of depicts how life is so short and fragile. i read it from a book, basically. thats how i got my inspiration.
but anyway, since u guys always forget (some of u will ask me, wats your blog ah, i remember its ep.. something. while typing it on the computer when im like bside you) i shall try and change it to something more memorable. thats on of the marketing techniques right? to get a nice catchy name so people will remember you. hmm. let me think... i'll update again when i see wat URLs are available.
[update]: i have no inspiration now. all my ideas are too cliche and are taken.

rain.
Rain, rain, go away, come again another day..

today is a day that is so suitable for my blog, cos its raining!
well i feel like being random and typing a random post. unless u wanna read abt my boring day? maybe later.

Rain is good weather for sleeping...

Rain can be good, you just have to appreciate it.

yeah, okay enough about rain. updates!
this week...
tuesday i had 2nd instru perf. it was better than i thought but not very very good. need to improve on tone, mrs ee says its quite scratchy. and coordination between two hands. and of course, myself thinks that intonation can definitely improve!
tuesday i also posted a birthday card to Claire! i hope she got it. i scared i got the wrong address or sth. :s [edit: oh i juz saw her tag :D]
wednesday malay had quiz. i think i did quite badly. forgot a lot of words. oh no.
thu was sian day. only cca was a bit more fun, the sec ones came but they were choosing instruments and stuff so in the end it was too late by the time they were allocated their sections so we didnt get to see them, like as a section. then mr lee the cello instructor asked us to do sth extremely random, to perform ju hua tai by zhou jie lun for the sec ones. like, WHAT. we never even learnt it before, and on the spot he wrote the notes on the whiteboard and we practised for a while, then we performed to them. so weird!!
today. friday. yipppeees. was a bit sian at first, then i became high at lunch time for no reason. was staying back the whole lunch to do ONE math supp problem that i didnt know how to do and claudia was teaching me.THANK YOU CLAUDIA FOR STAYING WITH ME AND HELPING ME!!! im really grateful, now that i think of it. she sacrificed her lunch to teach me and she was very patient and in the end we still got it wrong -.- and she helped me copy corrections. woots!
then after sch had CNY performance rehearsal. was late, cos i went to eat wif claudia first. took a school cello cos i forgot to bring mine, then chionged to the hall. saw eunice, one of my 'ex-senior' cos she quit CO cos of some injury or sth. she led me to the back of the hall to go upstage and we rehearse. the hall was super HOT. everyone was sweating like siao. i wonder how we'd survive wearing our CO uniform. O.O after rehearsal the ssabollec ppl who were left (only one person left for sth and the rest of the few of us is only, 5 ppl) helped to keep the stuff. i was keeping the stands, and the trolley thingy for the stands is so cool lah. LOL. with the help of woon yee and denise, the two vice pres-es, we pushed the stands back to the audi backstage. CLARICE... i went into audi backstage~ its not much really, that part where i went. but i saw the staircases and identified... ahem. nevermind. sorry people who dont get this part. its an inside thing. i think only claudia and clarice knows but only claudia comes so well.
after keeping stands, went to our section rm M403 and cleared up our room thanks to the wonderful foreseen future SL chinghui, my batchmate.

CNY CO perf on 12th Feb! yay!
CNY itself on 14-16!! yay!
14 is valentine's day and my parent's wedding anniversary and my cousin's wedding day!

left out
hello people! im supposed to be doing my concert journal now but im getting tired and having a break now. eating ice cream while typing this. yum.
well. this few days nothing much very interesting to talk about. unless i tell u all about me and my wonderful deskmates sarah and zhuohui. in short, they still bicker a lot. teachers glare at them a lot. i get irritated a lot. i get amused a lot. i get pulled in a lot.
yesterday i went to sarah's house to do math sia. how did i ever end up with them? i feel so unwanted. like i dont belong to any clique. usually i hang out with claudia and lee jiayi and clarice's group of people. but sometimes they dun treat us like we're part of them and its left lee jy and claudia and me. then claudia has math olympiad and she dont need to do math sia. then the numbers are all wrong, no group has enough vacancies for 2 ppl, so we had to split and thats how i ended up with sarah and zhuohui and chin tzu.
i dont mind them. its juz that i hate having people ask me everytime we have to form groups. who u grouping with? they ask. and EVERYTIME since this year its been me and lee jiayi left out. for LA, claudia too, then 3 of us were the 3 musketeers left in our own group.
why?
