No matter what the outcome had been, I would have taken it as a prayer answered. And indeed, He has let me keep my position to serve my lovely CCA mates for yet another year. Plus, I get a new working partner who’s none other than my junior in my section (phppsians, rmb huang laoshi? She’s her daughter! Hee). It was indeed a sweet surprise, however, my candy had a bitter coating outside of it.
Just like how we have a four-man race in the presidential elections this year, we had a little political unrest behind the scenes… I probably shouldn’t disclose too much, but I was sincerely afraid a riot of some sorts would break out. I wonder if I would be as upset if I were her…?
