What a way to put it.I believe I have hit on this topic before, about how I'm never really crazy about any artiste or any anything. There're Swifties, Glamberts, Beliebers, Gleeks...But, a YOUNGSTER?Even I didn't get it at first. What was a Youngster?! Yeah, I'm a teenager, and I guess technically, based on my knowledge of English, I AM a youngster. And so are you. THEN, after who ever branded me a youngster said that I once told her that I liked Owl City, I got it.Fine. This is the first time anyone has tried to declare me a fan of anything or anyone. So, I shall from the bottom of my heart accept that, and declare myself a Youngster. (You know the way you read a particular word too many times and then it begins to look strange? Well, I sure hope i didn't spell youngster wrongly, cos it looks weird now. it looks vaguely like... 'tungsten'.)And you know what? I shall tell you what I'm thinking of now. (Claudia, here comes another of those random thoughts that people wouldn't usually think i would think, and it has something to do with you..)That day at Lesley's BBQ, I was in a rather... quiet mood. Everyone else was talking about stuff like Glee, My Chemical Romance, Avril Lavigne (Hey, I'm a fan of her too.), and Taylor Swift, it being the weekend after her concert. That was when I heard some people talk about TS writing a song to Adam Young, and him singing a song back to her. (I realised that they are actually more or less the same song, except its TS style and Adam Young style) OH MY. I never knew about that. I mean, I don't stalk singers. (I'm not saying it's a bad thing, okay. I just never have anyone much to stalk.) But so, today I decided to stalk... Adam Young.Hahahaha. Yes, and I found the news where he sang a song to Taylor Swift, on Valentine's Day. It is on his blog, and I tell you, he is an awesome blogger. And for Tasia, who's reasons for liking JB are rather irrelevant to the fact that JB is a singer, my reasons for liking Adam Young might be more than just his music, but one of them is definitely his music.Just listen carefully to say, Fireflies. Do you hear all the layering? All the different sounds and texture? The effects all those create? How the tinkly noises, for instance, remind you of fireflies dotting the horizon with their tiny lightbulbs (even though you've never actually seen real fireflies?)?And the lyrics. He really puts effort into his song writing. The lyrics are always so interesting. Even though you don't always get the whole meaning of the song, they lyrics are still so eloquent and creative. You can actually visualise what he's describing. Sometimes they can actually be funny (i mean in a humorous way, not a weird way), that they make me feel like laughing. How many songs have lyrics that actually make you laugh? Hmm. Notice I didn't mention his singing. That, I shall just say he has a very... soothing voice. One last thing. If Taylor and Adam got together... I think that would be rather awesome, don't you think? At least, it's better than Taylor Lautner...?
