I don't know whether this is much of a secret or not, but I have to admit that, when I'm alone, I love to sing. And I know that for the life of me, I can't sing in tune. I have ever recorded myself singing, and I know that my intonation is horrible. I have also tried singing into my tuner, and I'm always flat.Okay, then, let's digress for a while. The other day I was came across a news article in the Life! section of ST. It was an interview with a rather old singer, but I don't remember his name. He said, that the music has died (or something to that effect). He said that the pop songs of today cannot compare to the songs of the past, that they are just random melodies stuck with words repeating all over each other. Something like that. My memory is failing me.Just now, I was slacking off, so I went into youtube to search for a song by Secondhand Serenade. Somehow that led me to videos of his concert in Indonesia this year (I never knew it happened), and my, I think I can sing more in tune than him.And previously, I found videos of Owl City's concert someplace, (it was quite a while ago) and he went off key quite a number of times too. Then I remembered my dear Swifties friends, who apparently were discussing about whether Taylor Swift can sing in tune or not. And I went to search for videos of HER concert in Singapore. And my, she DID go off at some places, but it was FAR, FAR better than the other 2 guys. And you know what? I don't think I'd ever go to any pop concert, cos it's just SO CHAOTIC, NOISY, and the fans sing so loudly, you can't hear the singer properly! And I experienced that through the videos. What would going to a concert actually feel like?! Oh my. I don't think I can take that.
