MY LIFE REVOLVES ROUND CATS. cats are tharapeutic. 'those who donts like cats should be carried to the cemetary in the rain' (or sth like that, a saying frm Netherlands) i read that in a book. too bad i cant seem to post pictures. after i click 'upload', they will say click 'done' rite? but there's an error on page and i cant find the 'done' button! so... that means no cute kitten pictures for ya to see. both kittens eyes are open already. has beeen for a few days. kittens eyes are always blue.. only when they grow bigger the colour change to the 'real' colour. and did u know cats are considered partially colour blind, according to human terms? their vision is also a bit out of focus. cos their eyes are adapted to discern movement, and whether the colours are rite or not doesnt matter.
'as all cat owners know, no one owns the cats'... that shows how independant cats can be. cats are juz so.. special creatures. there are two things that help us to relax in times of misery: music and cats. thats another saying i read in the book.i cant understand the ppl hu dont like cats. dont like as in , hv negative feelings towards them.
cats (when i say cats i mean domestic ones) in normal circumstances can run up to a speed of 40 km/h. when threatened, however, can run even faster, about 50km/h. compare that to the fastest human sprinters. they can run as fast as about 45km/h.
cats r farsighted too.thats y sometimes if u feed a cat and put food rite under their noses they take a while to realise its there. howver, their whiskers make up for this, as u know whiskers can feel stuff and detect movement by vibration i think..
cats can also hear much higher frequencies than humans can.we can hear sound up to 20kHz (wat that means i dont really know) while cats can hear sounds as high-pitched as 65kHz. sounds like the mice squeaking behind the wall are some sounds that cats hear. its the same reason that cats seem to miaow silently when in fact its a perfectly mormal miaow to them!

all this interesting info is frm the book titled: 'Cats:facts figures and fun'. there;s a lot more facts to tell abt but im juz so tired of typing already...
