tags: yuhong, when u say change font u mean here or the blogskin, like the welcome note?lol. elyse told me to post so i post. sunday went to see the 8th flr cats with yvonne. there are 5 kittens in a cage! so happy we found some cats but sad that they were caged. 2 ginger and 3 black. of the black ones, 1 is black and white, one is mixed(tinge of orangey brown patches) and the other has only one tiny bit of white. we wanted to try taking them out but they were very noisy and enthu. we try to touch them then their paws will all stretch out, as if they want to shake our hands! and old man's butt was shaved or sth. so hairless. hhahaha! if u dont mind seeing hairless cat butts, i will post the pic another day.yesterday i went wif leanne. at first i saw demi at MY block, so weird. then we went to the 8th flr to see the kittens. we named them the twins(ginger), faith (black and white, yvonne's idea actually..), hope (mixed) and eclipse (black). and leanne was taking video of them, and when we played th video, all we could hear were: mew MeOW MEOWMEOW mew miow miaw MEOW MEOWMEOWMEWMEWMEWmeow meow mew meow mew miow miaos , etc. hahas.attention divert: my bedroom light is out of order. the light spoiled, basically, and for one week the march hols, my dad forgot to change the bulb. on monday morning, while i was in school, he changed the bulb and in the proccess, BROKE IT!he left a note saying, sweep the floor again. i dropped the bulb, then exploot! daddy.lols! so i had to pick up the bigger pieces of glass with tissue paper of cos not my bare hands and vaccuum the floor. so tired. then that nite my dad arrived with a new bulb, planning to change the bulb with my help. so he stepped onto the high chair, plugged the thingy into the bulb, attched it to the holders, and i handed him the cover. he took the glass cover, and put it over/under (depends on how u see it) the bulb, then... BOOMPLIANGG!~ my bed was almost directly under the light, and i jumped onto it in fright and astonishment, on the end furthest from the light. the bulb broke AGAIN!! haiz. as it was night, i could only wear bedroom slippers to be safe, and pick up the glass pieces i could see under the light of the torch. i tried sweeping, but the next day, i noticed the glass pieces were still alot on the floor (argh this sentence is weird..) Moral of the story: - dont change light bulb in the dark cos firstly u cant see properly.
- dont assume u can sweep so well in the dark and plonk on the bed and find cuts on yourself the next day ( i slept in my mom's room that nite cos i found some pieces of glass on my bed and was scared to sleep on it until i was sure its clear.)
- when glass break, it can shoot really far, so be very very very careful. wear slippers! look before u take any step! in my case some tiny pieces were found at the entrance of the master bedroom, which is opposite my room.
- according to my dad, gas inside the light bulb can blind people, and he says becos he was holding the glass cover under the bulb and the bulb actually dropped on the cover so it shielded him from the gas.
so, yeah. of course, make sure the light switch is not on when u change the light bulb..
